Fitting with Lower Limb Prostheses

Step on your way to regained mobility

Going your way

with modern Lower Limb Prostheses from SPAO

It is our commitment to support you on your way to regained mobility.

Modern Lower Limb Prostheses from SPAO make it possible to preserve or restore your mobility.

What is a Lower Limb Prosthesis?

A lower limb prosthesis replaces an absent lower limb in case of congenital disorder (e.g. Dysmelia) or an amputated limb, for example after an accident or because of disease. We are aware that each of our lives are different and as such so are the demands on your prosthesis. Our specialists at SPAO provide individual fitting solutions designed to meet your personal requirements with your prosthesis.

Individual Fittings of your prosthesis for different amputation levels

Our services include prosthetic fittings for different amputation levels depending on the length of your residuum (stump) (for example “below-the-knee” or “above-the-knee” prosthesis). In response to this individual condition, prosthesis consists of various modular components (i.e. hip joint, knee joint and foot).

Custom Silicon Prosthesis

Aesthetics and comfort of your leg prostheses

In addition to functionality, the aesthetics and comfort of your lower limb prosthesis are extremely important to us. Not only should your device appear natural, but also your gait pattern. For example, you can use a foam cosmetic cover to complement your lower limb prosthetic fitting. We also offer high-quality silicone covers. For ultimate safety and comfort, the optimum fit of your prosthetic socket is especially important. For this interface between your residuum and your prosthesis, we can offer you a large selection of liner materials and suspension systems.
