Rebekah Herenda-Carroll

Rebekah joined our Gold Coast team as a Prosthetist and Orthotist in October 2025. Originally from Sydney and now based on the Gold Coast, Rebekah graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2020 before beginning her career in a Sydney orthotics-only clinic, where she spent nearly three years refining her clinical foundations. She later relocated to Perth, working as a Prosthetist and Orthotist and expanding her experience before making the move back to the East Coast.

Rebekah’s connection with SPAO began during her final-year placement in our Wollongong clinic, an experience she genuinely enjoyed and one that stayed in the fore front of her mind as she considered her next career step. When the opportunity arose to return to Queensland, she didn’t hesitate to reach out. Now part of the Gold Coast team, she values the supportive, close-knit clinic environment and team that the Gold Coast clinic possesses.

Clinically, Rebekah works across both prosthetics and orthotics, with particular interest in transtibial prosthetic management while continuing to build her experience across a broad and varied caseload. She is especially passionate about the relationships formed with clients, finding the most rewarding part of her role is meeting people from all walks of life and supporting them to achieve meaningful goals.

Outside of work, Rebekah leads an active lifestyle, playing rugby union and enjoying time at the gym, swimming, beach walks, and spending quality time with her staffy.
